Part 1
- Summary - Paperman is an animated short film story about a man and woman who met each other at the train station. The main character of this story, George, is an office-worker who fell in love with the lady that he saw at the train station. One day, after they seeing her, George was at his work and couldn't help himself but to think about that girl at the train station. He then found out that the lady was just on the other side of their building. He grabbed the paper that his Boss gave him and made a paper airplane to send it to the lady but after a lot of tries, he failed to do what he wanted to do. The paper airplanes went to life and served as a match maker for both of the characters. The paper airplanes found a way and did everything just to make the characters see each other again.
- Favourite scene from the short - When the paper airplanes did everything for George to see the love of his life. I found it engaging because it gave excitement to the short and I think it was also the climax of the short story which made it very enjoyable to watch.
- The artwork in the film made the story better because of the way its done and it fits into the story. Its exaggeration created the way to send the message properly to the viewers. The use of colour in the film was also good, everything was black and white except for the kiss mark which was red that represents love. But it would have been better if the film was coloured, it would have had more life to it. The kind of sound used in the film helped the viewers to understand the film even if it did not have any dialogue of the characters.
- Title - I like the title of the film, it gives ideas about what the short is all about. At first, I thought it was going to be about the man made out of paper. If I were to give the film a title, I would suggest it to be like, "The Love from the Paper."
